Car and SUV Backseat Cover

It was a little big for my vehicle, but the extra material folded under the plates easily. I am really happy with this. I think the dog will be comfortable and my fairly new vehicle will be protected. Win/Win! Thank you very much!

It s incredibly easy to put in and take out as necessary. My Georgie HATED the car until I found this product - I d tried 3 or 4 others of similar products and this is the only one that worked. Now he loves car rides, tries to jump up by himself, and adores running around and looking out the windows finally, my car has the dog slobber badge of honor on the back windows!!

We've had several car covers over the years and this is the best of the lot. Easy to install and the hard seat inserts prevents the dogs falling into the gap that always seem to form in traditional hammock seat covers. Everything is of high quality and expect this cover to last longer than the car.

The first one that I ordered did not fit real well. So I called them up and they made a custom one that fits perfectly. And I had it in hand in no time. Thank you very much.

Great product,.the old gal loves it (and I love that she's not falling off the back seat or trying to climb over the console when the back seats were folded down). Much safer for her to be confined to a ' passenger' area in the car and not riding in the hatch back crumple zone. Much safer for me to not be distracted and half afraid to brake or turn quickly for fear of injuring an old dog. Bonus that the car easier to clean, and keeps her off a beige cloth interior. I placed a blanket on the.seat to fill in the seat contours and seat belt buckles. Put on the dogshell and placed a.non slip rug pad under a blanket to keep her from sliding on the smooth denier fabric. Great solution but did need some accessories (rug pad and blankets) to make it more workable. Great product.

We love this thing. It was easy to install, it is holding up great, and our dog likes it. (But not having his photo taken, please ignore the sulk in the photos.) We drive a 2006 Subaru Legacy Sedan, and it worked and fit fine. Only complaint was that we had to throw down a blanket on top to be absolutely sure our pup didn't pinch his toes under the edge.

This has turned out to be one of the best purchases for the old dog. She had lots of trouble turning around in the small space of a backseat. It was to the point that we thought her car days were over. We got this just before a long trip and things went so much better. Lots of space now and much more comfortable for her. We did have to put a rubber back batch rug on it to keep her from sliding. The front section kind of keeps her out of the front seat - but I wish it was possible to remove it or something so that she can lay her nose on the armrest like she used to.

You re reading this review most likely because you looked around at the product offerings online and are looking for the best option. I RARELY write a review for anything I buy, but felt the need to do so for this product after the ridiculously great customer service I received working with this company, on top of the quality product. After having the seat hammocks and other improvised setups already on the market, I went with the Dogshell setup for 2 reasons. 1. Best offering according to other reviews online, and provided the most sturdy and modular setup for my 3 dogs (75, 70, and 55 pounds each). 2. They offer custom options for the discriminating buyer who wants additions features to make both my life and my dogs lives easier for travel. After contacting the company, it was immediately clear that they go above and beyond for their customers. I wanted a few specific requests for my particular setup, and they were happy to add or changes features for a nominal fee. AND, they turned around a custom design for me in less than 2 weeks! I think the standard product (car & truck sizes) would have worked just fine for me, and will work great for almost everybody. I requested slight changes to the design to accommodate my specific vehicle that helps me fit 3 large dogs in my truck. The material is solid, the platforms are solid, the stitching is solid, and the list goes on. Sure you can get by with a blanket over your backseat and deal with it, but after installing this and using it with my 3 dogs, I d get one again in a heart beat. If you re like me and like to put in the extra effort for your dogs and make them comfortable for long road trips, this product is a no brainer. And when your dogs are comfortable, you re comfortable, AND, the drive is much safer for all parties. Go get one, seriously.

I bought this about 2 years ago after many failed attempts at trying to fit 3 dogs and all my stuff comfortably in a truck. I live in Wi but for 6 months I run a resort in Canada, so there is ALOT of driving. I have a Dodge Ram 1500 and this is the invention that is a must have!!! It's sturdy enough to hold 3 dogs (1 50lbs and 2 over 60lbs) and the best part is that even with all 3 dogs on cover, you can still store and get to items you've placed on the floor!!!! No more having to move the dogs and lift up dog beds just to get to something. Makes life a little easier. The only thing that was an issue was that in my truck, the only vents for a/c were in the front seat and the divider blocked the air from blowing to them. With 3 dogs, they tend to give off a bit of heat. So I just cut a hole in the divider right along the seams of the pocket. Then I could point a vent right into the hole/window I made and that seemed to work. I know that kind of defeats the purpose of having a seat cover that stops them from coming up to the front but my dogs aren't allowed up front when the vehicle is moving so it doesn't affect my situation. So when/IF my current cover decides to wear out, this is the only kind I will ever buy again!!!!!! Thank you for making something that actually works!!!
